The Montoyas are coming to your state! I just booked our plane tickets and rental car for our June vacation to MI. I'm so excited! I left that small town and have not been back...7 years it's been. Probably too long, but it's so hard to spend so much money to take a vacation where you couldn't wait to leave. I'm finally at an age and it's been long enough to where I'm really looking forward to going back. For a visit only! lol. We were going to drive, but I talked JR into flying. That is just way too long and horrible of a drive. JR has never done it so he has no idea. Not to mention everything we want to do you have to drive to, way too much car time! The bad thing about flying is we can't bring the dirt bikes and that would have been fun. I know JR is probably bummed the most about that, but realizes flying is a better option with a one year old. My dad lives next to a dirt bike trail that takes you from his house all the way to Sunrise lake. Oh well!
I'm super busy this week. I have a test on Friday morning and a huge graphic design project due on Thursday. It involves not only designing the piece but constructing the 3D object so it's taking a lot of time. I was up till midnight last night and probably will be tonight also. Not fun when you get up at 4:45am every morning. I'm tired just thinking about it.
Well thats my short post for today now I need to leave work and head off to class. Blah. Later!

Long week...
Man, this seems like it's been such a long week already and it's only Thursday morning. Ughh. Natalie's daycare was closed again on Tuesday so I had to miss work and school. I'm hoping not much happened Tuesday at class, I can never get the professors to email back when you ask what is needed for the next class. So to make up work, I did work some from home and then I've been coming in super early. I think we have a graphic design professor from Japan coming in to class today. That should be awesome! Japan has some great art. I feel like I could lay down and sleep for days though. I have a test and huge project due next week so this weekend is going to suck. Although, JR and I are going to go out and ride Saturday morning. This is the first time we have taken the bikes out this year, so I'm looking forward to it and looking forward to fitting into my riding pants. I had to wear JRs last fall. I also need to start thinking about what we are going to do for Natalie's 1st b-day and sit down and get our vacation to MI scheduled.

How did we survive childhood??
I tend to stress over things a little too much. lol. This morning my mom met me in my parking garage at work to pick Natalie up. She said they already had a car seat in her Extera because they were using it for Logan, she borrowed it from a friend. So, I didn't bother to have JR show me how to uninstall and install Natalie's seat. Well, first (which I totally expected) mom was late. At least she was only late by a couple minutes. Then I go to put Natalie in her vehicle and it's an infant car seat and wasn't even installed yet. I had a mini freak out, because I was already late for work and had no idea how to install our seat and I knew there was no way I could get it tight enough to be the safest. I told mom, there was no way I was putting Natalie in the infant seat because they are not safe for her size or Logans for that matter since Logan is bigger then Natalie! Mom told me that the weight was fine for it. Yes the weight isn't the issue, it's the height. You can only go up to 26 inches with infant seats and Natalie is 28 inches, Logans even taller! So I finally after cussing up a storm, get Natalie's seat installed (thank God, mom had the latch system also). I had to wrench on that thing to get it tight enough and I know it still should have been tighter, but I could not get it tighter. At least it didn't move side to side, which is most important.
So, during the time I was stressing about getting the seat in, I snap at mom as to why she didn't check that and I can't believe they have been using that! She told me that all they had back when we were little was the infant seats. Kids didn't have to be in bigger car seats, booster seats etc. I can not believe that, how in the hell did our generation survive! And their generation even! There are so many things generation to generation that change, safety risks that are found out about, I wonder often how we ever survived childhood!
I gave her a hug and thanked her for taking Natalie today, because she is doing us a favor (daycare is closed today). I feel bad for getting mad at her, but it's easy to get irritated with my mom. She's never been early or on time for anything and I was expecting her to be prepared, which is another thing she is not good at. I always get my hopes up that maybe this time she'll be on time...nope....not this time.

Busy weekend!
Wow, this weekend was a busy one, but a good one. Saturday we got up and took Natalie to The Little Gym in Eagle. Our friends go every Saturday and this Saturday was bring a buddy day. Natalie had a blast! She was the youngest there, but did a pretty good job at keeping up. Towards the end though, she was tuckered out and ready to go.
She kept trying to crawl off the matts, but she doesn't know how to get down from things so I kept having to catch her and ease her off it otherwise she'd eat the carpet! Brave little girl!
Then after we got back from The Little Gym, we started prepping for our authentic Mexican dinner. My parents, Brother, Sister in law and nephew were coming over for dinner since my brother and his family were visiting from Michigan. I've been so good about what I eat so I was so looking forward to pigging out on Mexican! That's exactly what I did too, it was sooooo good! We had red chile enchiladas, calavacitas, beans, spanish rice, chips w/Gauc. & sopapillas. Oh and of course margaritas! It was so nice to see them and give Natalie and Logan a chance to play together. Logan is 1 month & 14 days older then Nat. A side note that is funny, all of the nephews and Nat were born on a specific day. Mason was born on the 1st day of Spring, Gavin on Tax day, Logan on April Fools day and Natalie on Mother's day. At first Natalie was not so sure of Logan, but then she warmed up to him and they would play side by side. It was pretty dang cute! Sunday, I spent most the day on homework and Shirley stopped over for a bit on her way back from the ranch.

They fly out tomorrow, so Natalie is spending the day up at mom's with everyone. Tonight JR and I are going up there to pick her up and have dinner with them.
